Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of WaybillBooks ("Service"). By registering, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy, Data Integrity & Security Policy.

If you use the Service on behalf of a transport or logistics company, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The Service

WaybillBooks is an online transport management and billing platform. The Service is provided over the internet and requires a working network connection — there is no offline mode or guaranteed local data sync on mobile wrappers (PWA, Trusted Web Activity, or similar shells).

We may update, improve, or limit features. Trial and paid subscriptions are subject to the plan shown at registration or in your subscription settings.

3. Accounts & security

You are responsible for:

• Accurate registration information and keeping company profile details up to date.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and all activity under your account.
• Promptly notifying us of unauthorized access or suspected misuse.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to store content that violates applicable law.
• Attempt to bypass security, access other tenants’ data, or disrupt the platform.
• Reverse engineer or resell the Service except as expressly permitted in writing.

5. Your data

Operational data you enter (customers, LRs, invoices, memos, ledgers, etc.) remains yours. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You should maintain your own backups of records required for tax, statutory, or internal compliance.

6. Subscriptions & digital services

Paid plans, if offered, are billed as described at checkout. Free trials convert to paid or expire according to the dates shown in the app unless you cancel or delete your account before renewal.

WaybillBooks is a business software subscription delivered digitally. Unless required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started.

7. Account & data deletion

Organization administrators may permanently delete their organization and all associated users and business data from My Profile → Delete account, after confirming their password. This action cannot be undone.

Staff users (non-administrators) may permanently delete their own login from My Profile → Delete account. The organization and records created by other users remain unless the organization administrator deletes the organization.

Deletion removes your login credentials and operational records from our active systems subject to our retention and backup practices described in the Privacy Policy.

If you cannot access the app, contact us at waybillbooks@gmail.com to request account deletion.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. You are responsible for verifying GST, TDS, e-way bill, and other compliance outputs before relying on them.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or INR 5,000 if you are on a free trial, whichever is greater.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
