Multi-vehicle transport bookings
One customer request. Every vehicle accounted for.
A large booking rarely moves in one vehicle. Capture the request once, track the required vehicle lines, and connect each assigned vehicle to its trip as dispatch progresses.
One request, several vehicles · illustrative example
Booking
BK-007Hyderabad → Nagpur
Each dispatched vehicle can be followed through its own trip.
From request to dispatch
Know what is assigned and what still needs a truck.
The booking gives your desk a shared starting point. Separate trip records then carry the actual movement, freight and documents for the vehicles that go out.
Capture the request
Record the customer, route and vehicle requirements in one booking.
Assign vehicles
Track which lines have a vehicle and which are still pending.
Follow each trip
Create or link the individual trips as dispatch takes place.
A practical distinction
The booking is the promise. The trip is the movement.
A five-vehicle customer request can produce several trips as vehicles become available. Keeping both records helps the team answer what was requested, what has moved and what remains.

Practical answers
Before you choose a tool
Can one booking cover multiple vehicles?
Yes. A booking can hold multiple vehicle requirements. Your team can assign vehicles and create or link trips as the work is dispatched.
What if only part of the booking is dispatched?
The booking workflow tracks partial progress, so the team can see the lines already assigned and the work still to arrange. It also supports short closing a booking when required.
Must every trip start with a booking?
No. Booking is available for requests that need that planning step; trips can be handled in the main Transport workflow as well.
